Shipping

Shipping chocolates can be a juggling act in the Aussie summertime, so That’s why proper precautions are taken to assure your chocolate orders arrive as they left! Shipping is usually done on a monday or tuesday in order to prevent orders from being in transit over the weekend. in the summer or in particularly warm temperature your order will contain a gel ice pack as a precautionary measure.

 

Open your package when it arrives and remove the ice pack in order to prevent condensation.

All of De Alonso products are made by hand and made to order. Allow a day or two for your order to be created ensuring the best and freshest experience.  De ALonso Truffles is only in production from Monday-Friday. If you need your order to arrive by a specific date, please specify you need express shipping.

Please note that our guaranteed delivery time does not take unexpected weather delays into consideration, or weather delays that may affect arrival dates. If you have any questions please contact us directly. 

At the moment, De Alonso Truffles only ships domestically within Australia.

Shelf life

expiration dates of De Alonso Truffles will be stamped on the ingredients label of our products. De Alonso truffles have a 30 day life outside the fridge in cool and temperate climates but can be stored in the fridge or freezer to extend their shelf life if need be.

Truffle Care

De Alonso truffles should be kept in a cool and dry place for storage,  to prevent melting and to maintain quality.

Sealing them in an airtight container or zip lock bag will also preserve freshness. If you are storing them in the fridge, it is recommended putting the truffles in an unzipped zip lock bag until they are cooled to the same temperature of the fridge before sealing it. If they are refrigerated, they should be brought back to room temperature before consumption in order to enjoy the full flavour experience.

Ingredients

De Alonso Truffles only uses the highest quality ingredients in all of our products. We source many of our ingredients locally and with other local purveyors. We also grow some of our own ingredients.

Allergens

All of De Alonso Truffles contain soy lecithin, which is an emulsifier, preventing the cocoa butter from separating from the cocoa mass. De Alonso Truffles are gluten-free; however all of our Truffles are made in a facility that handles tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy and milk products. De Alonso Truffles contain cream and butter. De Alonso products are Gluten Free.

De Alonso Truffles is committed to the preservation of the environment and supporting our local community. We source many ingredients locally as we strive to support the local environment that sustains us.

We also use organic ingredients whenever possible. Nearly all of our packaging is made with recycled materials to minimise impact on the environment.
